Bootlace Crimper, 0.5 – 16mm2 – Low Cost

Low cost tool with a huge crimp range, for bootlace ferrules, insulated and un-insulated from 0.5 – 16mm².  The jaws are ribbed to create a roughened surface on the ferrule to increase “locking” on the terminal.  The tool is ratchet controlled for crimp consistency, and the ratchet is adjustable to compensate for tool wear.

Die-Less Bootlace Ferrule Crimper

Die-less Bootlace Ferrule Crimper, 0.25 – 6mm2

The HNKE9 bootlace ferrule crimper has a unique crimp action, which automatically crimps a range of terminals from 0.25 – 6mm².  Simply insert the wire and ferrule and squeeze the handles, and the tool self adjusts and crimps.  The crimp surface is “serrated” by the tool, creating an enhanced grip.  The tool is ratchet controlled for crimp consistency, and has six pressure adjustments.  Please ensure this tool is well oiled to ensure correct operation.

The HNKE10 tool is the mid range tool in the die-less tool range, covering 0.75 to 6mm².  The principal of the tool is that it has four faces that simultaneously move inward as the tool is closed, creating a square crimped pin with serrations on the pin.  This action creates a self adjusting tool, which crimps over a large range.  To crimp, simply insert the ferrule and squeeze the handles, and the tool does the rest.  The tool is ratchet controlled for crimp consistency, and the ratchet has 9 adjustment positions, to compensate for tool wear.  Please ensure this tool is well oiled to ensure correct operation.

The HNKE11 tool is the large tool in the die-less tool range, covering 4 to 16mm².  The principal of the tool is that it has four faces that simultaneously move inward as the tool is closed, creating a square crimped pin with serrations on the pin.  This action creates a self adjusting tool, which crimps over a large range.  To crimp, simply insert the ferrule and squeeze the handles, and the tool does the rest.  The serrations on the pin created by the crimp assist with grip of the pin in the terminal block.  The tool is ratchet controlled for crimp consistency, and the ratchet has 6 adjustment positions, to compensate for tool wear.  Please ensure this tool is well oiled to ensure correct operation.

This tool is very useful for general electrical installation, in that it combines red and blue pre-insulated terminal jaws, with bootlace terminal jaws 0.25mm² – 2.5mm² (BLF025 to BLF250).  It is also light weight made from a titanium alloy, with ultra soft cushioned handles.
